FashionTemptations.com will offer you a custom stitched suit. But for the benefit of importers / boutiques / buying houses who buy in bulk, we are providing some general size / measurement information about our readymade Chikan suits. The length of the top is about knee length (approx. 44 to 48 inches). The length of the bottom (by which we mean the Indian style pant) is 40 - 42 inches. Please note that the standard shoulder sizes are 14.5 to 16.5 inches. The standard chest sizes are 40 through 44 inches - please note that this is not bust size - these garments are not worn hugging the figure, but a bit loose - since it is an Indian style kurta, not a western style shirt. There is drawstring which tightens these pants, so the size is again a bit relaxed and not exact as in a western pant. The overall effect is a free flowing garment which is very comfortable and elegant, and looks very regal on women of all body sizes (since the garments do not cling to their body but drape it very elegantly). Or you may place your order based on standard sizes.
The Western Pant Suits are "Easy-fitting" and the Chikan embroidered Indian Salwar Suits are "Loose-fitting".
If you wish to get a perfect fit suit, we want you to send us the exact measurements as shown in the Custom Measurement page. Our designers and tailors will modify those base measurements to be either "easy fitting" or "loose fitting".
